Eco Friendly AquaOvo

AquaOvo gave Dumais carte blanche to illustrate their eco friendly water filters made in Montreal.

We wanted to playfully illustrate the idea of fresh, pure water using a paper made set, complimenting the Ovopur's neat and immaculate ceramic.

My Body Is A Temple

Personal project.

Not everybody treats their body as a temple.

Highly graphical figures with a touch of irony, My Body is a Temple is inspired, of course, by the common expression. I have created these mandalas – circular artistic patterns used a lot in Buddhist and Hindu art – out of some of the indecent substances that we occidental folks subject our insides to.

Concept, Photography, Set Design: Sylvain Dumais
Assistant Set Design: Olivier Charland

Regard Short Films Festival / Print

From 2010 to 2014 Regard Sur Le Court Métrage Festival - Canada's largest short films festival - gave Dumais carte-blanche to create their print collateral.

Useful Things

This is a personal project for Maisonneuve Magazine.

We invent machines to make up for our shortcomings, to over- come our physical limitations, to create for us while we sleep. But are the devices we build to enhance our abilities really trapping us in our worst habits? Useful Things captures the contradiction of innovation.
